Topic: Fair & Lovely
everybody know what is Fair & Lovely. For those who don't know or pretend to don't know what is  Fair & Lovely, let me explain it. It is a product used to make the skin white like a  snow white based on the advertisement. hey! what for you want a white skin? you wanna be snow white??  Fair & Lovely is actually use the model that already have white skin color. don't be to stupid to trust the advertisement when you used the product, you can brighter your skin in few weeks or few month or  10 years perhaps! whats the matter with black skin? you don't like it? you know what, people who have white skin color easy to have skin cancer an your skin will look like a zombie perhaps! you wanna be like that? you should be thankful of having black skin. besides, i like black skin people but not nigger please. i only like black Malay boys. so, don't be too 'clever' to believe on something that you believe it is good for you but its not! lastly,  black is attractive!  even a famous  hollywood actors wants to have a black skin like Asian. don't be shy if you have black skin because you are famous as everybody will talk about you skin color. that means you are famous! they are not! :)

Ironi, Paradox, Absurd, Analogy

Ironi = Inconsistency between what might be expected to happen and what actually happen especially when               this differences seems absurd or laughable.



     eg : I hate to see someone wear make-up but I used to wear it sometimes.


Paradox = A statement on a situation is true but seems to defy logic or intuition.


     eg : -Aerodinamically the bumble bee shouldn't be able to fly but the bumble bee doesn't know it, so, it                  goes on flying anyway.


           - This sentence is grammatically incorrect

Absurd = [thesaurus]: ridiculous, silly, strange, irrational, bizzare.


Analogy = tool of thinking that uses stories situations or objects to help us visualize a particular experience or                    concept

3. Based on the setting/reality which you have selected, why do you think the prisoner hurt her eyes when she was first liberated?
   Because when she know the truth that she has a lots of debt, it hurts her.


4. In the context which you have selected, why do you think that the prisoner still insists that the images which she has seen before are much more real than statues?
   Because her addiction towards fashion and shopping spree.

Analogies

Analogy is based on comparison between two or more things or events. Often contain words or phrases such as like, as, similar, or compared to.



Analogies use objects;
Metaphor- Equate particular concept with particular object
                  - Subject as exactly the same to the object


     * Metaphor are comparisons that show how two things that are not alike in most ways are similar in one             important way
     * Metaphor category contains;
           Allegory: An extended metaphor wherein a story illustrates an important attribute of the subject.
           Catacheresis: A mixed metaphor used by design and accident (a rhetorical fault)
           Parable: An extended metaphor narrated as an anecdote illustrating and teaching a moral lesson
        


Simile      - Figure of speech draws similarity between to different things but otherwise not the same between                     one another


            eg: -He fights like a lion.
                 -He swims like a dolphin

Analogies use stories situations;
Parable/Allegory - symbolic expression of a deeper meaning through a story or scene acted out by human,                                   animal or mythical characters.
