The murder of Martha and her companions grabs the attention of Police Inspector Frederick Abberline to find the murder and solution to that problem. Its looks like a ritual murder as the coin was arrange in triangle. But i don't understand why the murder kill the prostitute only in the movie. As Inspector Abberline and Godley investigate the neighborhood where the crimes occur, they become acquainted with the prostitutes and street people who were friends and compatriots of the victims, and Abberline finds himself falling in love with Mary Kelly, a beautiful Irish streetwalker. Abberline becomes deeply involved with the case, which takes on personal meaning to him when he and Mary begin to fall in love.
I didn't aspect that Gull is the killer because in the movie, he looks like a ordinary old people who are slightly ill and weak. He has been killing the witnesses to painter Albert Sickert (Mark Dexter)'s forbidden Catholic marriage to Crook (Joanna Page), who bore his legitimate daughter Alice. Gull himself is a Freemason and his increasingly sinister behavior lends an insight into his murderous, but calculated mind. The crimes just happen until finally the killer gives himself away knowing that clues are apparently non existent. Interesting but story line falls short very much and makes me questioned more about the part where Gull tell Inspector Frederick Abberline that he was the killer.
Mary doesn't die; Gull had killed Liz which is the one who stay with Mary. That part make me suspend because i thought it was Mary the one that Gull killed but fortunately it was not Mary. Mary went to London lives with Alice in a cottage on a cliff by the sea. lastly, Abberline is found dead of an opium overdose, knowing he can never see Mary again without endangering her.
